Twitter is a way for you to updated immediately when new information is available on the website (such as new bulletin's or homilies).
Twitter is also now linked to Facebook to inform you as new information becomes available there.
Basically, Twitter will save you the step of logging in and checking to see if new information is available because it will email you when this happens.
